Jughead: The Hunger
If you're up for a thrilling twist on the beloved Archie crew, then this series is definitely worth sinking your teeth into! Jughead: The Hunger takes the Archie crew and drops them into a run-for-your-life horror universe, with the typically dopey Jughead taking on the role of part-time werewolf and full-time antagonist. The artwork is dynamic and perfectly complements the dark, atmospheric storyline, making it a visual treat. The blend of humor and horror keeps the narrative entertaining while exploring deeper themes of identity and transformation. It’s a unique spin on the Archie universe that isn't afraid to go all the way, especially with some if its more gory panels.

Late Night with the Devil
If you're up for a devilishly good time this movie delivers. Set on Halloween 1977, you get to witness what happens when a late-night TV show taping goes horribly wrong. It's a ride that will keep you guessing what is real and what isn't until the very end. Like a great one-shot horror comic, this film is one and done with a great premise and never overstays it's welcome. Its late 70's aesthetic is perfectly recreated for that nostalgic realism that sells its horror so well. David Dastmalchian masters his role as a late 70s talk show host and keeps you engaged with witty remarks and that fake wholesomeness hidden behind some dark secrets. Given this one a watch this Halloween, you won't regret it!
Silent Hill 2 (Remake)
Konami's iconic horror series makes a modern return this year with the Silent Hill 2 remake. Developed by Bloober Team, the team behind other terrifying games like Layers of Fear, The Observer, and The Medium. This faithful remake of the iconic horror classic updates the graphics and gameplay for more modern audiences without losing what made the original so special. Mixing grotesque monsters with psychological horror grounded by expertly crafted sound design that will make your skin crawl. The surreal dreamy nature of the story and characters add an extra level of depth that elevates the narrative to provide just enough context to drive you forward through your journey in Silent Hill. You can't go wrong with playing this one if you’re looking for some scares this Halloween.
